"Genie: Recent Works by Afarin Rahmanifar"
Afarin's works capture her dualistic approach towards being an Iranian woman in America. Her juxtaposed "eastern" and "western" icons speak of her journey of making sense of who is she, where she is and the sensibilities of her homeland- Iran.
