Gods & Goddesses at Work, by Dr. Mona Afary
A multi-dimensional workshop on relationship dynamics in the workplace, a different approach.
Sundays Nov 12 & Nov 19th in De Anza College
This workshop incorporates the concept of archetypes as it relates to modern psychology and its application at work. It allows you to understand the aspects of your personality and enables you to gain better understanding of people whom you work with. Archetypal perspective is effective because of its multidimensionality. It helps us understand the various and at times contradictory aspects of our personality. Personalities are multi-dimensional. We are not merely introverts or extroverts; left-brained or right-brained; perfectionist or adventuresome.
Recognizing the multiple dimensions of our personality as well as of those with whom we work, will enable us to see which aspects can be more cultivated and which ones need to be more cautiously managed. This awareness empowers us as individuals and as team players.
Myths of the Greek Gods and Goddesses will be presented with movie clips and music, along with real life examples and individual and group activities.
